Show Team

Our Show Team is an exciting additional class where students bring favourite musicals to life through incredible performances, costumes, sets, and props. It’s a fun, rewarding experience that builds confidence, friendships, and unforgettable memories.

We take a relaxed approach to rehearsals, meeting for just 2 hours each week.

Students are selected annually through an audition process, with places offered based on the roles available. Both new and existing students are welcome to audition, though spaces are highly competitive. This class is designed for experienced performers, and we encourage students to continue developing their skills alongside our Theatre classes.

Audition Information

We are so excited to announce our 2027 musical... Annie Jr!

Auditions to take part of this incredible experience, will take place on Sunday 6th September 2026 at Long Eaton Baptist Church.

This production is open to ages 8 - 18 years. Rehearsals take place for successful applicants, in Breaston every Thursday evening from 5:45-7:45pm during term time from September 2026 - April 2027. For more information, please see our information pack below.

Main Character Auditions:

These will take place from 11am - 3pm.

Students auditioning for a main character must prepare one monologue and one vocal score selected from our audition pack.

Individual auditions will be held from 11:00am – 1:30pm, followed by a group workshop audition, where you will also be joined by those auditioning for the ensemble. This workshop will include learning a short dance routine, singing as part of a group song, and participating in improvised acting activities. No preparation is required in advance for this section of the audition.

Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat during the individual audition period. Please note: Strictly NO Nuts.

Ensemble Auditions:

These will take place from 1:30pm - 3pm.

Students auditioning for ensemble roles will join the main character auditions for a group workshop style audition. This workshop will include learning a short dance routine, singing as part of a group song, and participating in improvised acting activities.

No preparation is required in advance for ensemble auditions.

Audition applications will close on Friday, 28 August 2026. Please note that if we receive a high volume of applications, auditions may close earlier than this date

Please Note:

All students will be considered fairly for every role, regardless of the character they audition for. Casting is based solely on the audition, not previous experience or past productions.

Students will be cast in roles that best suit their strengths and performance and will be considered for ALL roles, regardless of what they audition for.

Our auditions are designed to be fun, supportive, and pressure-free. While not everyone may be successful, we encourage every student to enjoy the experience and give it their best.
