About us
& who we are
Our Story
Created for drama queens, by drama queens...
Founded in 2019 by Harri, HTA grew out of our entertainment and events company, We Are Hazza. With a passion for theatre and performance, Harri set out to build a fun, friendly, and welcoming space while producing exciting, professional-level shows.

What began with just 13 students has since blossomed into a thriving community of more than 150 young performers each week. In January 2025, we made the decision to close our events company to focus fully on the Theatre School, creating even more opportunities for our students and productions.
We run weekly theatre, street dance, and show classes for ages 5–16, designed to be affordable and accessible. Unlike traditional theatre schools, we don’t enforce strict uniforms, exams, or competitions. Instead, we welcome students of all backgrounds and abilities, encouraging creativity, confidence, and a love of the stage.

We recently introduced our new name and brand, HTA as we take the next step to the future to create more focused, professional training. You can read all about our changes here!

What we do
We're busier than we may look!
We provide exciting weekly training programmes designed to develop all aspects of theatre and performing arts training in a fun, supportive and inspiring environment. From our renowned theatre course to specialist add-on classes including street dance and singing, students have the opportunity to grow in confidence, creativity and performance skills each week.

Through learning a variety of techniques, routines and disciplines, students build strong foundations in acting, dance and vocal performance while also developing important life skills such as teamwork, communication and self-belief - regardless of their age or ability. Our goal is to help every student reach their full potential both on and off the stage.
Our Promise
We take pinky promises seriously around here!
At HTA, we create a professional, supportive and fun environment where every child feels they belong. Through high-quality training in acting, singing and dance, students build confidence, creativity, friendships and valuable life skills both on and off the stage.

We understand performing arts are not for everyone and that’s completely okay. Many of our students joined feeling shy or nervous to even walk through our doors, and now confidently perform solo numbers in front of audiences of over 700 people. Our goal isn’t perfection; it’s helping every child grow in confidence, have fun and feel proud of themselves.

A place to belong...
Confidence
Through performance training and encouragement from our teachers, students develop confidence, self-belief and the courage to step outside their comfort zone.
Less Screen Time
Our engaging, high-energy classes give students the opportunity to disconnect from screens, stay active and enjoy real-life interaction and creativity.
Experiences
From performances and showcases to exciting weekly classes, students gain memorable experiences that help them grow both on and off the stage.
Community
We create a welcoming and supportive environment where students build friendships, teamwork skills and a strong sense of togetherness.
Creativity
Our classes encourage students to express themselves freely through acting, singing and dance, helping to unlock imagination and creative thinking.
A place to belong
We pride ourselves on providing a safe and inclusive space where every student feels valued, supported and able to be themselves.

Harrison Horsfall (Harri)
Our Founder
Harri, the founder of HTA, has always been deeply passionate about the performing arts. From a young age, he appeared in a wide variety of shows, completed LAMDA exams and gained full marks in his drama GCSE & A-Levels, gaining valuable experience both on stage and behind the scenes. Over the years, he has directed and produced multiple full-scale productions, developing a love for creating inspiring theatre. In 2019, Harri founded the school with a simple vision: to make performing arts fun, friendly, and accessible, while still taking the craft seriously, without the pressures of strict exams or competitive environments.
